π₯³ A NEWNEWSLETTER ERA π |
|
So, this is new... but also not... π Here's the thing, and I'm sorry to say it but, the email newsletter is a dying component of the DawgNet experience. I know, I know, some of you love it and want to continue seeing it hit your inboxes, but hear me out...
Those two reasons alone are more than enough for me to reconsider the value of an email newsletter. BUT... hold up... β I've been brainstorming and researching for some time now alternative methods of getting the info to you that I want to share each week. Including updates on the channel itself, new releases, and of course promo games we may be getting into. So we're giving this a go!
This post is coming to you via Grav, a CMS (content management system) that allows me to create web pages in the same way I'd create the newsletter. But now, instead of coming in via email, the page is hosted on my web host for all to access. From anywhere!
Which, yes, I was doing anyway with the newsletter link so this is a natural progression. A way for everyone to equally access the newsletter, and for me to save somewhere around $200 a year! Net positive all round, I'd say. π Stay tuned though as this continues to evolve, as the CMS will also give me some other flexibility that a straight-up email newsletter alone would not.
And, thank you as always for your support and attention wherever you happen to give it! π₯° |
